Sports Physicals

Each year, before engaging in sports activities, it is crucial for every student to undergo pre-participation physicals. At Pinnacle Urgent Care, we prioritize the assessment of vision, vital signs, and previous medical conditions or diagnoses that could impact a youth athlete's ability to safely participate in specific activities or sports. We will gather a comprehensive history of any past orthopedic injuries and ensure that these injuries have been completely resolved.

Subsequently, your provider will conduct a thorough physical examination, with a particular focus on the heart, lungs, and musculoskeletal system. Following the history and physical examination at Pinnacle Urgent Care, the student athlete will receive one of the following outcomes: full clearance, clearance with restrictions, or, if necessary, a referral to a specialist for further evaluation.
